Before You Submit

Can I submit a paper that is already under review elsewhere?
No. The journal does not permit simultaneous submission to another journal.

Do I need to use a journal template?
Yes. Authors should prepare their work using the relevant Insolvation template before submission.

Review and Publication Process

How are submissions reviewed?
Each submission first goes through editorial screening. Suitable manuscripts then move to double-blind peer review, as explained on the Peer Review Process page.

Can a paper be declined before peer review?
Yes. A submission may be declined at the editorial screening stage if it falls outside the journal's scope or does not meet the basic requirements.

What editorial decisions may be made after review?
After review, the journal may accept the submission, ask for minor revisions, ask for major revisions, or decline it.

What happens during the revision stage?
Authors are expected to respond clearly and carefully to reviewer and editorial comments during the revision stage.

What happens if a paper is accepted?
Accepted papers move to copyediting, proofing, metadata checks, and publication preparation.

How does the journal publish accepted papers?
